Q: What is a passing score on the GED? A: You must have at least an average of 450 on each subtest (Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies) and a total score of at least 2250. No individual subtest score may be less than 410. The essay must receive at least a score of 2 or the remainder of the writing section will not be graded.
