| Become a learner at READ It's easy to enroll as a learner with the Crawford County READ Program. The hardest part is taking that first step and calling one of our offices at:
Meadville: (814)-337-7323 Titusville: (814)-827-0212
A helpful staff member will ask you a few questions and then schedule you for a group orientation meeting. During the orientation, you'll find out what READ can offer you, what we will expect from you as a learner, and learning tips to help you succeed.
You will then take an assessment so we can help you identify your strengths and weaknesses as a learner. Then we create a learning plan that is just right for you and assign the books and other materials that will help you best.
As soon as you complete the assessment, Sharon (in Meadville) or Kelli (in Titusville) will meet to learn more about you, your previous education, and your future goals. Then, we'll begin the process of matching you with a tutor or a small group. You may also want to visit the computer lab in our office where you can start to work on your skills immediately. (Don't worry; we will show you how to use the computers.)
There is no cost to you as a learner in our program, except for a commitment of your time and effort.
If you are a person who wants to improve your skills in reading, writing, math or English, you should call Crawford County READ Program today.
